Day 4...breakfast at Brinchang town on Cameron before departing down route 185 to Ipoh.
No breakfast photo except for some Hai-Nan Kueh...
And we departed Cameron at about 1030am...on the way down...
Reached Ipoh by about 12pm...but unfortunately...the famous Lou Wang Taoge Chicken was closed...
Luckily...just across the same junction, there is another pretty famous chicken rice stall...Restoran Ong Kee Tauge Ayam...
Taste good, but was a little salty...
And then we left Ipoh and got onto NSHW...no drama and traffic was very smooth. Cruised between 120-160 km/hr, occasionally reaching 180 km/hr. It was so much easier to reach the higher speed with the 2.4L engine when compared to the 2.0L one that we were used to. However, the Camry platform is really not a high-speed cruiser and instability can already be felt at speed above 140.
At the high way speed that we were doing, the 2.4L started drinking a lot more than the 2.0L. The needle was dropping fast and we had to top up at about 50km from Yong Peng.
Reached our destination at Kluang with no drama. Total mileage for the day:
